As product leader for the Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLO) division of Global Capital Markets, Richard is responsible for managing and overseeing all business operations including data management, loan processing, compliance, and waterfall modeling and technology infrastructure.

Richard joined Wilmington Trust in 2018 to lead the CLO Trustee business. Prior to his current role, he was head of Transaction Management and Analytics for American Capital Leveraged Finance where he had overall responsibility for the firm’s global loan platform operations, including portfolio analysis, reporting, data management, technology, and trustee/custodian relationships.

Previously, he was employed at Deutsche Investment Management Americas Inc., where he led the High Yield Strategies Group’s Transaction Management, Reporting and Operations team and at Flagship Capital Management, Inc. as the Head of Decision Support and Investor Relations. His prior experience includes roles at FleetBank as Credit Officer to Specialty Finance and Large Corporate firms, a manager in Loan Operations, and as an audit supervisor at NatWest Bank. Richard brings 30 years of banking experience to the team and 20 years’ experience in investingand managing CLO’s and bank loans.

Richard holds an MBA in banking and finance from Hofstra University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the New York Institute of Technology
