Some areas like ongoing content ass First chapter is excellent. I must say though, that I don’t recommend reading it like I did, a couple pages at a time as I could find a minute here and there.
Second chapter is ok, but doesn’t really bring the material together that well. You can read an excerpt at A List Apart magazine, or buy it direct from the publisher in a beautiful kisxane edition, as a set of DRM-free ebook files, or both.

And what does the content renaissance mean for you? Yet, this is always glaringly absent from books about content strategy. However, the book is well written and structured, it’s short, and keeps itself focused on its subject while providing different points of view. On the other hand, when I’ve worked with Content Strategists, we’ve produced better projects than I could dream of doing on my own.
Good content is appropriate, useful, user-centered, clear, consistent, concise, and supported. Her approach here is intriguing and fun. Will the content be as compelling as what I might create myself? An emerging field in a marketplace still suffering growing pangs, the world needs more content strategists. However, if you are charged with the larger area of what was once called technical writing I hate this term and prefer help contentyou will still have a fair amount of work to do in order to take what conceptualized here.

I am already printing out the list of deliverables and outlining her approach. It is a short book, but it took me months to get through – I kept having other, more interesting fare on my Kindle! It resonates with some recent experiences.
